School is almost in session and we’re cleanin’ up in style.
Join Volunteer Garland for a back-to-school beautification bash at Central
Park. We will be painting park bathrooms and picnic tables to give the space a
fresh start for the season. (See map below)
When: Saturday, August 2 , 8 AM to Noon
Where: Central Park, Garland, TX
Meet at: Parking lot next to the tennis courts on W Ave H.
We will bring the music, paint supplies, and good vibes. You
bring the energy. Let’s make this place shine before the school bell chimes!
This is a fun and meaningful way to give back, but let’s keep it tidy. Be mindful of your brushwork, remove excess paint from rollers, watch for drips, and avoid splashes. Our goal is a clean, even coat, not a Jackson Pollock painting.
Agenda:
- 7:30 to 8 AM: Booth set up.
- 8 to 8:30 AM: Volunteer sign-in.
- 8:45 AM: Volunteer safety talk, instructions, group photo.
- 9 to 11 AM: Split up into groups to paint.
- 11:00 to 11:30 AM: Return Supplies
- 11:30 AM to 12 PM: Volunteer sign-out.
