Volunteer Garland is partnering with Aurea Cleaning Co. to support their once a month free Senior Home Cleaning service. The company believes in service and offers a monthly complimentary home cleaning each month for a Garland senior or resident experiencing hardship.
Each month, volunteers work alongside Aurea Cleaning Co. to help restore a safe, clean, and welcoming home for someone who needs a helping hand.
Volunteer Opportunities
Volunteers may assist with:
- General house cleaning
- Light organizing
- Preparing cleaning supplies
- Community outreach
- Helping identify residents in need
- Supporting community partnerships
No professional cleaning experience is required. Training, supplies, and on-site guidance are provided by Aurea Cleaning Co.
Who Can Volunteer?
Volunteers should be:
- At least 18 years old
- Compassionate and dependable
- Respectful of client privacy
- Comfortable performing light household cleaning
When
Projects are generally scheduled the last Wednesday or Friday of each month. Exact dates, times, and project details are confirmed during the week of service.
Where
Private residences within Garland. The project location is shared only with registered volunteers after they are confirmed for service.
Commitment
Most projects last approximately 2 to 4 hours, depending on the home's needs and the number of volunteers participating.
