Every week in June, Garland Libraries will host performers for entertaining family events. At the South Garland branch, we are featuring these guests.
- Percussion Things -- 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 3
- All About Animals -- 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 10
- Dino Bo -- 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 17
- Dr. Lon Magic Show -- 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 24
Your duties in this volunteer shift:
- 2:00-2:30 p.m. -- managing line of attendees waiting to enter
- 2:30-3:30 p.m. -- counting attendance & helping librarians with crowd management
- 3:30-4:00 p.m. -- helping librarians clean up and tear down room
This volunteer opportunity is for ages 12-17 only.
➡️If you cannot attend your volunteer shift, please cancel it online or call us at 972-205-3934 to let us know. If you have three no-call no-show occurrences with the Garland libraries, we will delete your future shifts and you will no longer be permitted to volunteer at any of the library branches.
➡️PLEASE NOTE: We do not accept volunteers that are fulfilling court-mandated service hours.
