PSRW Employee Appreciation Event – Volunteer Support

The City of Garland is hosting a Public Service Recognition Week (PSRW) Employee Appreciation Event, and we’re looking for volunteers to help create a fun, welcoming experience for City employees.
This is your chance to give back to the people who serve our community every day.
Volunteer Roles
Volunteers will be assigned or rotate as needed throughout the event:

Event Setup Support
Help set up tables and chairs before the event begins. -
Indoor Support
Bus tables and help keep indoor areas clean by monitoring trash stations. -
Outdoor Support
Assist with outdoor table cleanup and trash monitoring. -
Activity Monitors
Help supervise outdoor inflatable games and ensure a safe, fun environment.

Volunteer Expectations
- Maintain a professional and respectful demeanor
- Be flexible and ready to assist where needed
- Volunteer shirts or safety vests will be provided on-site
