Garland Cultural Arts hosts concerts, theatrical performances, cultural events, and community productions throughout the year. Volunteer Ushers play a vital role in welcoming guests and ensuring events run smoothly.
Event: Omnium Circus
Three Performances: March 16 @ 6 PM - 9 PM, March 17 @ 9:30 AM - 12:30 PM, March 17 @ 12:30 PM - 3:30 PM
Position: 7 Ushers needed per performance
Responsibilities
Volunteers will assist with:

Greeting patrons with a warm, professional demeanor

Scanning tickets at entry points

Assisting guests with seating and directions

Serving as event concierges by answering questions about the venue

Helping maintain a safe, organized, and enjoyable environment

Providing excellent customer service before, during, and after the performance
Requirements

Must be 16 years of age or older
-
Friendly, reliable, and professional
-
Passion for the arts and community events
-
Strong customer service mindset
-
Comfortable standing for extended periods
-
Willing to follow venue policies and staff direction

Meet new people and engage with Garland residents
-
Earn volunteer service hours
Wear nice clothes. Black pants/blouse and White shirt/top preferred.
