Teen volunteers will help the Youth Services Librarian run the 1-2-3 STEAM: The Five Senses program for families with children ages 1-5 years!
All volunteers need to be attentive and engaging to families with duties include, but not limited to:
- Crowd management
- Storytime assistance
- Helping families do activities after storytime
- Set up/Clean up assistance
This volunteer opportunity is for:
- Ages 12 - 17 only.
- Individual volunteers and NOT for groups. For questions about group volunteering, please contact the Site Supervisor.
- 2 hour shifts. Longer shifts need to be preapproved by Site Supervisor. Volunteers will sign in for their shift at the Children's Desk.

If you have three no-call no-show occurrences with the Garland libraries, we will delete your future shifts and you will no longer be permitted to volunteer at any of the library branches.
