9th Annual Tri- City Liter Cleanup: Keep on Keeping it Beautiful

Keeping our waterways beautiful takes a community effort. Join volunteers from Dallas, Rowlett, and Garland to cleanup our shared waterway, Lake Ray Hubbard, and connecting tributaries.

We supply the tools; you supply the power! Choose from a preferred location in Dallas, Rowlett, or Garland to clean up. Following the workday, you are welcome to come hang out at the Hella Shrine Center for free food and fun.

Come dressed to work in the elements: boots, pants, sleeves, bug spray, and sunscreen. Bring a refillable water jug!

7:30 AM: Captain meeting at Hella Shrine

8:00 – 8:30 AM (All Volunteers & Captains)
Meet at Hella Shrine (2121 Rowlett Rd., Garland, TX 75043) to:

• Register and sign in

• Receive safety talk and important instructions

• Captains pick up cleanup supplies

8:30
Group photos & send off to designated cleaning sites 

9:00 – 11:30 AM
Litter cleanup at assigned locations

11:30
Return all cleanup supplies to captains and head to Hella Shrine

11:30 AM – 1 PM (Hella Shrine, food served until it runs out)
Lunch and fun

Hella Shrine is located at 2121 Rowlett Rd. Garland, TX 75043

Reminder: Have fun, be safe, and take lots of pictures

Site Information:  FAMILY FRIENDLY. Plenty of parking. Port-a-potty available. Good place to drop in kayak to clean in waterway.

**Walk-ups are welcome but must register at Hella Shrine.
CAPTAINS: If someone has not registered at Hella Shrine, they must complete a waiver and media release before joining. These forms will be provided in your clipboard.**
