Lake Ray Hubbard and John Paul Jones Park Litter Cleanup: Shore & Water Crew Needed!
We're making waves and clearing shores! Join us Saturday, May 31 from 8 AM to noon at John Paul Jones Park for a hands-on lake cleanup effort in partnership with Clear Lakes Texas.
Volunteers will be divided into two dynamic teams:
Water Crew – Hop aboard with Clear Texas Lakes founder, Don Gaston as he takes up to 6 volunteers out on his boat to clean up litter floating in the water and tucked into hard-to-reach areas. It’s a one-of-a-kind way to help preserve our lake's beauty from the surface up.
Shoreline Crew – Prefer to stay dry? Our land-based team will be clearing trash and debris along the shoreline—where a lot of the litter builds up and threatens local wildlife.
