Jumping feet first to clean Jon Paul Jones Park and its waterway.
Volunteer Garland is pulling out all the gear for this cleanup. We will be providing waders, litter grabbers, water grabbers, tree grabbers, and even nets. Volunteers will be able to join the litter cleanup, paint pavilions, or help spruce up the grills. Join us in refreshing one of Garland's best grill and chill spots for the whole community to enjoy!
With Volunteer Garland, you're not just volunteering, you're engineering a better future!
* Volunteers must wear close toed shoes.
* All volunteers must have all waivers filled out and signed before they can begin the cleanup.
* All younger volunteers must be accompanied by a guardian.
* If you miss the sign up deadline, you may show up to the site and participate.
Agenda:
- 7:30 to 8 AM: Booth set up.
- 8 to 8:30 AM: Volunteer sign-in.
- 8:45 AM: Volunteer safety talk, instructions, group photo.
- 9 to 11 AM: Clean up.
- 11:00 to 11:30 AM: Return Supplies
- 11:30 AM to 12 PM: Volunteer sign-out.
