Keeping our waterways beautiful takes a community effort. Join volunteers from Dallas, Rowlett, and Garland to cleanup our shared waterway, Lake Ray Hubbard, and connecting tributaries.

We supply the tools; you supply the power! Choose from a preferred location in Dallas, Rowlett, or Garland to clean up. Following the workday, you are welcome to come hang out at the Hella Shrine Center for free food and fun.

Come dressed to work in the elements: boots, pants, sleeves, bug spray, and sunscreen. Bring a refillable water jug!


8:00 am to Noon Saturday, Oct. 10

Volunteer AgendaBefore Cleanup Day: Captains

Captains must schedule a time to pick up their Captain Kit and cleanup supplies prior to the cleanup event.

Please be prepared for pickup, as some kits will contain more supplies than others depending on the size and needs of your cleanup site.Review your kit and supplies before cleanup day so you are prepared for your volunteers.Captains are responsible for ensuring all volunteers have signed the Media and Liability Waiver before participating.7:45 AM: Captains

11:30 AM – 12:00 PM: Transition to Hella Shrine

Captains and volunteers will have this time to wrap up at their cleanup sites and travel to Hella Shrine for lunch and activities.

12:00 – 1:00 PM: Lunch & Fun at Hella Shrine

Join us at Hella Shrine after the cleanup for lunch and fun!

Food will be served until it runs out.

10th  Annual Tri- City Liter Cleanup: Keep on Keeping it Beautiful


Keeping our waterways beautiful takes a community effort. Join volunteers from Dallas, Rowlett, and Garland to cleanup our shared waterway, Lake Ray Hubbard, and connecting tributaries.

We supply the tools; you supply the power! Choose from a preferred location in Dallas, Rowlett, or Garland to clean up. Following the workday, you are welcome to come hang out at the Hella Shrine Center for free food and fun.

Come dressed to work in the elements: boots, pants, sleeves, bug spray, and sunscreen. Bring a refillable water jug!

Your kit will include the supplies and information you will need for your assigned cleanup site. Please review your materials before cleanup day and bring your Captain Kit and supplies with you to your site on the morning of the event.

Captains should arrive at their assigned cleanup site by 7:45 AM to prepare for volunteers.

Throughout the cleanup, remind volunteers to:

At 11:00 AM, Captains should let all volunteers know that cleanup is ending.
